Vending machines, a very popular word. Everyone must know what it is. It means a machine that provides various snacks, beverages and other products to consumers. The idea is to vend products without a cashier. Vending machines generally serve the purpose of selling snacks and drinks , but now there are many new ideas, for example mobile and i-pod etc...
I think vending machine is a good idea, because consumers can buy anything at anytime. I think that company can earn more than own a shop, because the vending machine helps saving labour, it don’t need any staff to help promotion or introduce how to use the product. It can locate anywhere which just need indoor and a plug, its contribution.
Everything there will have their strengthens and weaknesses, vending machine also have its weaknesses. For example, if you sell a expensive product, then you may need to think about the security problem, also are you sure that all the consumers know how to use the product? The size of the vending machine is not enough to stock all the products, there maybe not much choice and do not stock much quantity for each time.But overall, I think it is a good business. Because it is easy for everyone to buy the product anything at anytime.
